He attended Francis Marion University earning a bachelor's degree in biology and chemistry before moving to Columbia to attend the university of South Carolina School of Medicine. During medical school he earned his pilot's license, worked as a paramedic with Richland County EMS, and was voted president of his graduating class. After matriculation at USCSOM, he performed his residency at Palmetto Richland Memorial Hospital becoming board certified in Family Medicine. Dr. Griggs is a master injector and has over a decade of experience in all aspects of the medical aesthetics field. These medications can all lead to increased bruising and bleeding at the injection sites. HOW LONG IS THE RECOVERY PERIOD? There is usually no recovery period needed after BOTOX® Cosmetic injections. Most patients are able to return to their daily activities immediately after treatment has been completed.
